    RICE SPEAKS

Speaking after the game, Accies boss Brian Rice said:

“The boys were hanging in there at half time and I told them the first 15-20 minutes is going to be crucial but we switched off.

“I think all the goals came through wide areas, crosses outside the box so a bit of naivety from some of the young lads.

“But like I said before the game, we'll learn from this and we'll be better from this.”

“When you play against good players and good teams you see what they do and you see the levels they achieve as individuals and as a team.

“You've got to strive to try and match that, and be the best you can be.

“Some really good Celtic performances out there today but you know, Celtic are on a different level to us.

“I think it's very very unfair if you try to judge me against Celtic.”

    TAYLOR TALKS

Celtic left-back Greg Taylor, who assisted the first two goals, speaks after today's win:

“It's a great win, good to get a few goals as well for the boys.

“Think first half we certainly started really well, got the two goals relatively early and then lost a scrappy goal, but no second half the boys came out again, right out of the traps and scored a good few early.”

On the importance of Odsonne Edouard:

    “He's massive.

“Words probably don't describe Odsonne, he's a special special player and we're very grateful to have him.”

    LENNON SPEAKS

Speaking after the game, Celtic boss Neil Lennon said:

“Yeah I'm delighted it's a fantastic start to the season.

“We were a little bit passive for my liking in the first half, and then second half we really showed what we were about with real pace and power, and you know, really good goals, so yeah really delighted.

“People finding their feet a little bit and getting their match rhythm again but second half I thought we were really really strong.

“Second half they gave me everything I asked for and delighted with a real powerful performance in the end and a great start.”
